Visiting the Theatre by the Lake

Julie took a break from her hectic political schedule on Thursday (19th Feb) to visit the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick. As a member of the European Parliament's Culture Committee, and as a passionate advocate of the Arts, she was thrilled to visit the theatre, which is set against the most beautiful of backgrounds, the English Lake District.

Julie was joined by her constituency manager, Barbara Cannon, and the two enjoyed performances by the Fertile Ground Dance Company, A New Chimera and Shields of Bone. A New Chimera by Tom Dale portrays a thrilling destruction of traditional borders and barriers, whilst Shields of Bone by Eleesha Drennan delves in to every essence of the human condition.
