Journey's End

Programmed to commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War, the cast of Journey’s End began rehearsals on Monday 4 August, the very date that Britain declared war on Germany one hundred years ago.

Based on RC Sherriff’s own experience of the First World War, Journey’s End is written with the authenticity and compassion of a soldier who was intimately acquainted with the nightmare of life in the trenches, and the extraordinary courage of those who fought there.

The play commences from 4 September - 4 October 2014 Monday to Saturday, 7.30pm 2pm Matinees: Fri 5, Sat 13, Wed 17, Wed 24, Sat 27 September. 5pm performance: Mon 15 September
